The Funniest Anime Ever! (Anime Reccomendations)

The best cure for many troubles that ail you in life is laughter! While some anime can be straight cringe there are so many that are truly funny. Today Anime Culture will be sharing a list of some of the funniest anime ever that will actually make you laugh! After dying a laughable death, Kazuma Sato comes face to face to with a beautiful but obnoxious goddess named Aqua. after telling him that he basically died for nothing, she gives him the choice to either continue to heaven or live out his otaku dream and be reincarnated into a fantasy world. When he chooses the reincarnation choice he is quickly tasked with defeating the demon lord of that world though before he goes he has the choice to choose one item he will bring with him to the other world. The future hero chooses the goddess in front of him, he doesn't even know the mistake he made. With Kazuma being reincarnated with a useless goddess and then getting a useless team, this anime is just built for comedy. With every moment, scene and episode in this anime you are guaranteed a good laugh.

Prison School

Located on the outskirts of Tokyo, Hachimitsu Private Academy is a prestigious all-girls boarding school. That changes now that they are opening up and allowing boys to attend the school as well. At the start of the first semester under this new decree, a mere five boys have been accepted and on their first day they screw up by trying to peep on the girls while they're bathing. Due to this crime the school's underground student council has decided to throw the boys in a prison located on the school's campus. Filled with hilarious characters, lots of ecchi and hilarious scenes and moments, Prison school may be the funniest anime on this list.


The Kazama Gang—a gang of three wannabe delinquents and close friends, spearheaded by Kenji Kazama, is trying to make a name for themselves at Fujou Academy. On their first day they find themselves putting out a fire in the Game Development Club. The members of the club attack the gang instead of thanking them, knocking out the two lesser members and leaving Kazama to fight by himself. Unable to escape he is coerced into joining the club. "D-Frag" is a silly anime with every single episode being incredibly hilarious with the occasional ecchi (Takao's Breasts).

One Punch Man

The normal looking guy named Saitama, has quite the hobby: Being a hero. In order to pursue this dream he trains relentlessly for 3 years and lost all his hair in the process. Now he is powerful and no enemy can defeat him, he is so powerful that it only takes one of his punches the completely obliterate evil. Now that he is so powerful life has become seemingly boring. This all changes with the arrival of Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg, who wishes to be Saitama's disciple after seeing what he is capable of. Going into this anime you would think that it would be a serious one, though you'd definetly be surprised once you actually watch it. "One Punch Man" is filled with goofiness and hilarious characters.


Keita Amano is a typical high school gamer living out an average student's life. One day, however, he has an unexpected meeting with the cutest girl in school that makes him want to disappear without a trace! Karen is an incredible student and is known as the school's idol. When she discovers Keito Amano is a gamer she seeks to recruit him to be a member of the Game Club. "Gamers" is filled with the cutest moments between the couples and the funniest misunderstandings. If you want a great anime that feature gaming, slice of life, romance and comedy, "Gamers!" is 2nd to D-Frag.


After Japan institutes a new morality that suppresses sexual acts, it becomes a nation free of obscenity and impurity. In this world of sexual suppression, Tanukichi Okuma enters high school and offers his help to the student council, only to get close to Anna Nishikinomiya, The student council president and his childhood friend and crush. Little does he know the vice president of the student council has a secret identity: Blue Snow, a masked criminal dedicated to spreading lewd material amongst the sheltered public and Tanukichi has caught the girl's interest. Shimoneta has a lot of sexually implied scenes that wont fail at making you laugh as well as incredibly hilarious characters that wont disappoint.

A Sisters All You Need

Itsuki Hashima is a light novelist who has an obsession for little sister and bases most of his work off of that obsession. Despite his perverted personality his is surrounded by a tight circle of friends. Together, they play strange games, go on spontaneous journeys, crack silly jokes, and celebrate each other's successes. This Anime is absolutely hilarious and relatable in one or more ways with many people. In Anime Culture's Personal opinion both the sub and dub versions of this anime both offer incredible laughs and good times. Every character has some event that has happened in their past that is relatable and gets you attached to them. The moments and situations that happen are hilarious and the art style of this anime is incredible.

My Girlfriend Is A Shobitch

Haruka Shinozaki has been interested in the class representative, Akiho Kousaka, since his first year in high school. She is a good at sports and an overall amazing student, one day he finds the courage to confess his feeling to her and to his shock she agrees to be his girlfriend. Hovever he finds out that Kousaka is a bit stranger than he thought, and even though she has never been in a relationship she vows to do her best to please Haruka in every way she can. "My Girlfriend Is A Shobitch" is an anime very similiar to "Shimoneta". There are many hilarious scenes that have heavy sexual implications, and the characters are very unique, this anime is a perfect blend of sexiness and comedy.

How Not To Summon A Demon Lord

When it comes to a certain MMORPG game there is an unbeatable player who goes by the name "Demon Lord Diablo", With the rarest items and artifacts in the game, he destroys any player who is foolish enough to challenge him. The true identity of this incredible force of power is a guy names Takuma Sakamoto, a shut-in gamer with zero social skills Takuma cares about nothing else but his virtual life—that is, until a summoning spell suddenly transports him to another world where he has Diablo's appearance! In this fantasy world as the great Demon Lord Diablo he is greeted by a busty elf summoner named Sheera L. Greenwood and a petite and cute pantherian adventurer named Rem Galeu. They try to cast an enslavement spell on the demon lord though due to his immense power, the spell backfires and instead they become slaves to him! They now set out on their own adventure in order to undo the slave spell that backfired, this is an isekai anime with incredibly funny moments, situations and characters that wont disappoint

Dagashi Kashi

Out in the countryside stands a sweet shop run by the Shikada family for nine generations. The current head of the sweet shop wants his son, Kokonotsu Shikada, an aspiring manga artist, to take over the family business. though despite his father's pleas he refuses to inherit the business and focuses on his passion. Though this may change due to the arrival of the eccentric Hotaru Shidare. She has ventured into the countryside to recruit Kokonotsu's father to come work for her family's company, Shidare Corporation , a world's famous sweets manufacturer. He initially refuses, he states that he'll join her under one condition: if Hotaru can convince Kokonotsu to take over the family shop. And so begins Hotaru's mission to enlighten the boy on the true joy of delicious and nostalgic dagashi! Dagashi Kashi was an amazing slice of life anime with amazing characters. The comedy is hysterical with many funny situations and moments.
